Bombay Street Food Co. launches High Chai

Jun 7 2017, 11:41 pm

Tea time in Toronto isn’t confined to old English customs. Bombay Street Food Co. for one is about to introduce a very Indian take on the tradition. High Chai is a new excuse to don a pair of white gloves and whimsical fascinators.

The Bombay-style tea party debuts on Sunday, June 11 and will be offered weekends throughout the summer. Tickets are $35 per person and include three tiers of dainty Desi finger foods along with a choice of tea.

Choose from two menus including Rani’s Tea featuring nibbles like samosas, pakoras, potato paneer toasties, biscuits, mawa cakes, and Khaari Paradise, or opt for Raja’s Tea complete with onion bhajiya, vadas, keema cheese sandwiches, biscuits, Qubani Ka Meetha, and more.
