Environment Canada has issued a frost advisory for Toronto tonight.

This is why you don’t plant your garden until after the May long weekend.

Temperatures are “expected to fall to near the freezing mark once again tonight and early Tuesday morning. Frost is possible in some areas.”

During growing season, frost advisories are issued when temperatures drop “leading to potential damage and destruction to plants and crops.”

Of course, it could be worse. Just look to our fellow Canadians in Montreal for example, they’re dealing with floods AND snow.

Consider yourselves lucky, Toronto.
