9 Toronto food events to check out this week: November 18 to 24

The holidays are here and they come bearing gifts of provisions and beer.

Food and drink happenings in Toronto this week include Happy Hour at Assembly Chef’s Hall, a four-course dinner at Planta, macarons and of course, the Toronto Christmas Market.

Guess who’s back, back again! Odds are you already know; Toronto’s famous Christmas Market began last week. Get yourself down to the Distillery District for grilled cheese, turkey legs, wine and Eva’s Original Chimneys. Evening and weekend entry is $5, while weekday afternoons are free.

When: November 15 – December 23 (closed Mondays)

The Junction Craft Brewing Tour

Junction Craft Brewing

Have a drink and a tour of the Brewery Store at Junction Craft Brewing. Learn about the history of the Junction and the passion that goes into every pint at this local brewery. Get your ticket for $15.

This month’s Happy Hour at Assembly Chef’s Hall will see dinner from The Good Son Pizza. The focus is on local, seasonal and organic produce, and the menu has been designed for guests to share plates and enjoy experiences together. Tickets are $50.
