That is, if receiving proper sales training and perks like catered lunches and a two-month paid leave are important to you.

But first, why should you consider a career in sales?

Anyone who works in a high-growth and fast-paced industry will tell you that sales is one of the most important roles in a company for its focus on educating clients and solving real business problems.

And the fact that it offers salespeople great opportunities for growth and fast-career progression is a huge plus.

But for many people, a job in sales can seem intimidating because of the myth that selling is a skill you have to be “born with.” That’s not the case. In fact, with proper coaching and enough learning opportunities, anyone can be a top performer in sales. The biggest challenge is finding an employer that will invest in you.
