Dyson just opened its first Canadian Demo store in Toronto
A new interactive Dyson demo store has opened its doors at Yorkdale Shopping Centre.
Officially open on December 21, the Dyson store is the first of its kind in Canada, and follows recent openings, including Flagship New York on 5th Avenue, San Francisco and Virginia.
Yorkdale’s 2,000 sq. ft. space is designed to encourage people to pick up, test, and understand Dyson technology. According to Dyson, the interactive demonstrations bring to life the science at the heart of their machines, and experts are on-hand to explain machines and provide recommendations that will best suit customers’ lifestyles.
“It is by picking up and experiencing Dyson products that you are able to understand why and how we use new technology to improve performance. The Dyson Demo encourages people to be hands-on,” said Jake Dyson, Research and Development Director, in a release.
Although they are mostly known for bagless vacuums, they also produce battery-enabled and autonomous vacuums, bladeless fans, air purifiers, humidifiers, lighting, hand dryers and, most recently, the Dyson Supersonic hair dryer — and all those machines are now exhibited and available at Yorkdale.
