Toronto pub The Dog's Bollocks set to close next week
Queen West watering hole, The Dog’s Bollocks will pour its last pint next week.
The pub announced on Facebook that Friday, July 13 would be its last day and has invited patrons in to bid farewell and enjoy one last drink, some 10 am World Cup coverage, and one last chance to belt out karaoke classics, before next weekend.
“Since receiving news of the changes to our lease, our ownership has fought the good fight in an effort to continue serving you in our current location, but to no avail,” reads the farewell announcement on Facebook before continuing. “Endings can be new beginnings though, and we encourage you to keep this page Liked to look for future announcements and some special promos at our sister bar (Toby’s Pub And Eatery – 411 College Street).”
A replacement is already lined-up to take over the Queen West address, according to an AGCO application, with 817 Sports Bar & Grill already in the works.
