You can go to a drive-in movie in Toronto this weekend for just $5

Yes, there’s a drive-in movie theatre in Toronto.

You may not have known it, but The Docks has the only downtown drive-in movie theatre in all of North America. And while tickets to the Friday and Saturday double-header shows will run you $15 per person, Sundays are $25 per carload (as many as legally allowed in the car).

And while we’re no mathematicians, we’re pretty sure that means you can throw some friends together in your ride and cut that price down to $5 per person, or even less depending on whether or not you drive a Hummer.

That $25 per carload is also good for both movies.

No car? No problem. The Docks drive-in also currently allows anyone who walks or bikes down to set up a chair and watch the movies too. (Just don’t forget your FM radio or you won’t be able to hear the action.)
