“From Fire. From Sand. Comes Beauty.”

The ROM isn’t kidding around with that tagline, and either is American sculptor Dale Chihuly. His latest exhibit at the ROM, simply called CHIHULY, will take your breath away. Fitting, as many of the impressive installations feature blown glass.

Internationally renowned, with artwork in more than 200 museum collections around the world, this is Chihuly’s first major Canadian exhibition.

Says the artist, “I want people to be overwhelmed with light and color in a way that they’ve never experienced.”

Well, if these pictures are any indication, you most definitely will be.

The exhibition is currently open to the public and will be on display until January 2, 2017. You can find ticket information here.
