While some Tragically Hip fans managed to snag tickets for their sold-out shows this week, others weren’t so lucky.
But good news, Hippers.
The CNE has confirmed plans to host a live broadcast of “CBC and the Tragically Hip present The Tragically Hip: A National Celebration” on August 20.
“The CNE is proud to be one of the sanctioned events to broadcast The Tragically Hip concert live from Kingston, ON,” said Virginia Ludy, CNE General Manager, in a press release. “This concert is destined to be one of those great Canadian music moments in time. It’s going to be a monumental event to watch and be a part of a national celebration.”
