Popular Vancouver bar hosting a cocktail takeover at this Toronto hotspot

Libation enthusiasts can enjoy a taste of west coast cocktail culture at a Queen West watering hole this month.

On Wednesday, October 17, Vancouver’s favourite cocktail den Clough Club is taking over Toronto’s Death & Taxes Free House as part of Toronto Cocktail Week.

For one night only, current staff and alumni from the popular Gastown bar will take over the Queen West hotspot for an evening of killer cocktails and elevated street food, including gourmet hot dogs and Clough Club’s locally-famous Potachos available to take the edge off late-night appetites.

Straight from the heart of Gastown, Clough Club Manager Joey Donnelly will be joined by alumnus Joao Machado, who has worked with PrettyUgly and Bar Raval in Toronto and other special guests to mix current Clough Club menu cocktails, classics, and of course their iconic pineapples — sharable pitcher cocktails with a craft twist.

Whether you live in the neighbourhood or you’re looking to have a fun night out, make sure to head to Death & Taxes for an evening of incredible cocktails and plenty of west coast vibes.
