There will be soon a new source for Korean fried chicken on Queen West.
Going into the space that was formerly home to Thai One On, Chimac is a new pub set to major in twice-fried Korean-style chicken that’ll be served up in a choice of nine different sauces ranging from spicy gochujang sauce and garlic soy, to green onions and even an alfredo cream with cheese.
Owner Dylan Byun shared with Daily Hive that popular western dishes like poutine and chicken strips will pepper the menu along with sizzling stone pot meals like cheesy grilled chicken.
To drink, look forward to beer and soju cocktails made with fresh fruit.
Chimac is expected to open in mid- to late March.
