Cheesecake waffle bowls are now a thing in Toronto

Aug 21 2018, 12:11 am

Toronto’s latest dessert trend is a mash-up of all-time faves. Glorious Goods, located on the street side patio of The Ballroom on John Street, is a month-old business serving up twice-baked cheesecake waffle bowls.

The sweet treat purveyor specializes in a menu of scratch-made cheesecake bowls that draw on nostalgic flavours. Among the options on the menu, highlights include the Banana Jama featuring a banana bread bottom layered with cheesecake and crowned with a caramelized banana topping, and the Cinny Young Thing featuring a cinnamon roll blanketed by our original cheesecake and finished with a cinnamon topping.

And, as if that weren’t sweet enough, any order can be made a la mode with a scoop of ice cream for an extra $0.50.
