High Park Zoo asks Toronto for help naming adorable capybara triplets
After escaping their pen in Summer ’16, High Park Zoo’s capybaras welcomed three new additions to the family.
Nicknamed Bonnie and Clyde after the famous escapade, the giant rodents were eventually found and returned to the Zoo, but the romp has resulted in three adorable capybabies who now need names.
Submissions will be accepted until May 3 at which time the zoo will invite the public to vote from a shortlist starting May 8.
Donate towards renovating the capybaras’ home
Like with all new parents, they need a few things. There’s a baby registry fundraising campaign on the go from the zoo to renovate the family home. You can donate while you’re deciding between Hewitt, Geoffrey, and Wright, or Eenie, Meenie, and Miney.
Please help out and donate to our “baby registry!” The donations will go toward funding the zoo! https://t.co/4Y4MLxYNSn #capybabies
