Winter is coming… in wonderland form.

Just a hop, skip, and drive away, Niagara Falls’ Winter Festival of Lights returns on November 3, lighting up the small city.

The annual winter tradition stretches over 8 km in Niagara, and will run through to the end of January. The Ontario Power Generation Winter Festival of Lights began back in 1983 and is Canada’s largest illumination festival and the premiere illumination festival in North America, attracting over 1 million visitors and hundreds of motor coaches annually.

The Ontario Power Generation Winter Festival of Lights transforms Niagara Falls into breathtaking colours with millions of sparkling lights and animated displays, located within the Niagara Parks, Dufferin Islands and surrounding tourist districts.

As part of the Winter Festival of Lights this year, Niagara Parks presents Aura: Let it Glow, bringing several incredible illumination-themed events to the Winter Festival of Lights throughout the entire 56-km Niagara Parks.

There will also be the annual light shows, fireworks, family entertainment, festival of stars, and of course, the grand opening ceremony.

So plan that winter road trip, it will be very Instagram worthy.
