It’s the national anthem we never knew we needed – and now it’s finally here, we’re loving it.

To celebrate Canada 150, the Canadian Centre of Diversity and Inclusion has made a NSFW music video called Free AF.

The lyrics, which are accompanied by quirky cartoons illustrating Canadians of all walks of life, are pretty awesome.

“Frankly we’re all wacky, and everybody’s got their quirks, but we’ve laid aside our differences, to ensure that we’re not jerks,” our new favourite earworm goes.

Michael Bach, the centre’s Founder and CEO, said the video is a fun way to talk about a serious subject.

“We enjoyed doing this video because it is a reflection of us,” said Bach in a release.

“We took the opportunity to celebrate our peoples’ differences, their beauty and contributions. Together we help make our country a great nation.”

Quite – and the video isn’t afraid to say that.

“In this land we fight for freedom, and we call ourselves Canucks, and we’re free to be ourselves, and we’re free as fuck.”

We couldn’t agree more.
