Buca on King closed until September due to flooding

Toronto’s recent wet weather has claimed another casualty.

Earlier this month, Drake’s Pick 6ix restaurant was shuttered indefinitely due to storm damage. Now it seems the OG Buca Osteria & Enoteca at King West and Portland is also closed for rain-related renovations.

Please note that due to recent rain and flooding, Buca Osteria & Enoteca is currently closed for renovations, re-opening the first week of September. We apologize for the inconvenience and look forward to seeing you soon.

According to a post on Instagram, the Italian restaurant expects to reopen the first week of September just as the Toronto International Film Festival is kicking off in the area.
