Every winter, Blue Mountain attracts visitors from far and wide with its spectacular winter activities, charming village and festive decor.

And this year, visitors will be blown away by the Ontario resorts’ new holiday light trail that promises to make you feel like you’re in a snow globe.

The Blumination Dream Trail is a new one-kilometre trail that weaves through Blue Mountain Village and around Mill Pond.

Featuring 10 interactive and entrancing light installations, the trail is a “mega-watt winter experience” that everyone can enjoy for free starting December 1.

The experience begins at the Field of Dreams and visitors will walk past hundreds of twinkling lights as they make their way to the Events Plaza where they can take in an incredible light show from 7 pm to 9 pm.

The village comes alive during the weekend and visitors can enjoy free, scenic horse-drawn wagon rides, visits with Santa Claus at the Coca-Cola Village Stage, delicious maple taffy and even a beautiful fireworks display.

Visitors can also check out the indoor and outdoor swimming pools

The Plunge Aquatic Centre is open Fridays to Sundays and has hot tubs and heated pools with swings, docks, and water slides.

The Blumination Dream Trail officially opens for the season on December 1 and is open Monday to Sunday from 5 pm to 10 pm.
