Up to $68 million in prizes could be handed out during Friday’s Lotto Max draw, with a $60 million jackpot plus eight Maxmillion prizes of $1 million each up for grabs.
Lotto Max says 40% of all its ticket sales occur on Friday afternoon, and it peaks during the lunch hour. For instance, in British Columbia, up to 4,500 transactions are made per minute during this period.
The odds of winning a Lotto Max jackpot is 1 in 28,633,528.
As usual every week, sales for Lotto Max end at 6 pm every Friday.
