Hello May! Well Toronto, the warmer weather is finally upon us making it the perfect time to get outdoors, hit the streets and find some famous faces.

With 18 movies and TV shows currently in production in the city, you just never know when you might spot your favourite character off-set, roaming the streets of Toronto.

Here are 21 celebrities to spot in Toronto this May!

While it has not been officially confirmed, Olivia Munn may be in Toronto sometime in May to start filming for her new role in Die in a Gunfight. Munn is best known for starring in TV series Beyond the BreakThe Newsroom, and the feature film X-Men: Apocalypse.

Possibly joining Munn in Toronto for Die in a Gunfight is actress Helen Hunt. You may remember her from movies like Twister, What Women Want, As Good as It Gets, and Cast Away.

Josh Hutcherson

Best known for playing Peeta in The Hunger Games films which won him a People’s Choice Award, Josh Hutcherson will also likely be in Toronto for Die in a Gunfight.

It is likely that Steve Carell may be in Toronto this May filming for The Dogs of Babel. Carell is best known for his quirky character Michael in The Office, and who could forget his hilarious roles in movies like The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Evan Almighty and Get Smart.

Eugene Levy

The hilarious Eugene Levy may be spotted in Toronto this May. Levy is currently filming for season five of the hit show Schitt’s Creek alongside his son Daniel Levy, who also plays Levy’s on-set child in the show. From Hamilton ON, Levy is best known for starring in all eight of the American Pie films and his groundbreaking work as part of Second City.

Catherine O’Hara

Joining Levy on the set of Schitt’s Creek is actress, writer, and comedian Catherine O’Hara. O’Hara has starred in many movies from Heartburn alongside Meryl Streep, to the voice of Sally in The Nightmare Before Christmas, or maybe you remember her best as Kevin McCallister’s mom in the Home Alone films.

Nina Dobrev

Nina Dobrev will return to her hometown of Toronto to film for her latest role in the feature film Run This Town. Dobrev is best known for playing Elena on The Vampire Diaries, along with films like Let’s Be Cops, The Final Girls, and most recently Flatliners. 

Ben Platt

Joining Dobrev on the set of Run This Town is Ben Platt. You may remember him from films like Pitch Perfect, Pitch Perfect 2, and most recently in the Broadway musical Dear Evan Hansen which won him a Tony Award.
