You can travel to Toronto from Montreal by train for $44 this December
If you’ve been thinking of visiting Toronto over the holidays, VIA Rail currently has an incredible ticket deal that will get you to there for just $44.
As part of the national train company’s Escape fare, which offers low fares for budget-conscious travellers, the cost of one-way fare is only $44 for select dates from Montreal to Toronto.

At the time of publication, the travel deal shows departures as early as December 11.
However, the closer you get to Christmas, you will notice that certain departure times increase to $58, $76 and $94.
To book, you simply head to VIA Rail, enter your travel details (remember to click one-way), and select your travel date and then you’ll be prompted to chose your departure time. Make sure to click on a time that says $44.

This ticket deal will allow you to bring one personal bag, as well as one large bag or two small bags.
While you’re in Toronto you might want to consider checking out one of the spectacular holiday markets or Canada’s largest Christmas tree.
