Finally!

Maple syrup lovers, rejoice! Now there is a cabane a sucre to suit those with all types of food allergies.

Cabane a Sucre Handfield, located in Saint-Marc-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, prides itself on its “alternative” menu.

Claiming to be vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, lactose-free, and pork-free, the delicious menu is a dream for all those with dietary restrictions.

In addition to simply existing (a rarity at Quebec sugar shacks), the offerings looks downright scrumptious.

The three-course menu includes several appetizers, mains, and desserts including lentil cretons with homemade bread, green pea soup with mint, baked beans, omelettes, ratatouille, fruit salad, maple snow taffy, tofu marinated in fenugreek, steamed potatoes, and more.

Lunch prices start at $22 on weekdays and $28.50 on weekends.

In addition to their vegan and gluten-free menu, Cabane a Sucre Handfield also has an array of gourmet maple goodies available for purchase, three halls with wood burning fireplaces, horse-drawn carriage rides, and stunning views of the surrounding Richelieu Valley.
