Exhibition season is over, cuts have been made, and the Toronto Raptors are ready to go.

The Raptors improved their preseason record to 4-1 following a 134-119 win over the New Orleans Pelicans on Thursday. On Friday, they made their final cuts.

The team has waived forward Deng Adel, guards Kyle Collinsworth and Kay Felder, and centre Eric Moreland. They also signed 6-foot-10 Canadian forward Chris Boucher to a two-way contract.

Sixteen players make up the Raptors’ roster to start the season:

Five new players join the team this season, highlighted by Kawhi Leonard. You may have heard of the offseason trade that brought him to Toronto.

The other player acquired in the blockbuster deal with San Antonio is Danny Green, who should also play a key role for the Raptors.

Other newcomers include the aforementioned Boucher, Jordan Loyd, and Greg Monroe.

The 25-year-old Montreal native, Boucher saw limited action with the Golden State Warriors last season as a two-way player.

Jordan Loyd is a 6-foot-4 guard from Atlanta, who played last season in Israel.

Monroe is a 28-year-old veteran centre, who split last season with Milwaukee, Phoenix, and Boston.

The regular season tips off on Wednesday at the Air Canada Centre against the LeBron James-less Cleveland Cavaliers.
