Tim Hortons outlets are notifying customers via signs at cash registers that “a slight price increase affecting some hot beverage and breakfast menu items” will be coming into effect this week.
These signs have been seen across Canada in Toronto, Calgary, and Vancouver:
Price increases attributed to “rising operational costs” will occur on Wednesday, August 2. However, in Vancouver, the price increase does not mention hot beverages, only breakfast menu items:
Daily Hive reached out to Tim Hortons concerning the affected items and their new prices but has yet to hear back. As of publication, the Canada-wide chain of coffee houses still has not announced which menu items will be affected or how much these items will now cost.
