On April 17 Tim Hortons announced that their head office and Global Restaurant Support Centre will be moving after 50 years at their Oakville, ON location.
Later this year, the corporate headquarters will be relocating to downtown Toronto in the Exchange Tower (King Street West), described as an “ideal setting” for the next stages of the company’s growth.
The new 65,000 sq. ft. space will feature a modern work environment that will help the company by “reinforcing our commitment to our Canadian roots.”
“This major metropolitan environment will provide a platform for us to further expand our leadership in Canada by bringing us closer to our business partners and the people on the front lines of tomorrow’s industry trends,” said Alex Macedo, President of Tim Hortons.
Macedo also said this change is part of the company’s journey to build a stronger Tim Hortons, and will enable them to harness the power of technology and innovation.
