The Great North American Eclipse is happening today and Canadians all across the country will be looking to catch a glimpse of this epic event.

In Canada, a partial solar eclipse will occur, meaning the sun will be covered by the moon but not entirely.

The eclipse will also take place at different times across Canada. So if you want to know what time you need to get your eclipse glasses ready based on where you live, this is all the info you need:

Canadians on the west coast will be able to see the most coverage. Those on the east coast will still get to see a good fraction of the eclipse.

The eclipse will begin in Canada in Victoria at 9:09 am PST. St. John’s will see the eclipse last at 3:29 pm NDT.

Get out there and enjoy this rare event – but make sure you remember to wear your eclipse glasses!
