Snow removal in Montreal will begin tonight.
According to the City of Montreal, crews will hit the road at 7 pm. Removal will first focus on busy roads and streets and then move to residential areas.

No-parking periods during snow loading operations are generally as follows:
- Daytime: 7 am to 7 pm
- Evening: 7 pm to 7 am
According to the Info Neige website, signs that indicate no parking from 7 pm to 7 am go up before 3 pm the same day, and signs that indicate no parking from 7 am to 7 pm go up before 8 pm the evening before.
If snow removal on your street is not complete by the end of the no-parking period, it will be extended to the same period of the next day so removal can continue.
The City of Montreal is also offering residents with 2,158 free overnight parking spots during snow removal.
