The weather alerts just keep on coming.
The Weather Network has issued a smog alert for the Montreal region.
Some of you may have noticed smog starting to form last night. Well unfortunately, it looks like the smog is expected to continue today with multiple weather outlets warning of “high concentrations of fine particulates” which will “result in poor air quality.”
The Weather Network notes that people with asthma, respiratory illnesses, or heart disease should be extra cautious when outdoors today. In addition, be careful when driving as visibility will be low.
Despite the smog, the city will see warmer temperatures today reaching a high of 4 degrees, with mixed precipitation forecasted in the form of 1 mm of rain and 1-3 cm of snow.
Let the weather craziness continue…
