Fans are upset at Raptors for trading DeMar DeRozan
It’s not often that a fanbase is unhappy after their team acquires one of the best players in the NBA.
But here we are.
The Toronto acquired Kawhi Leonard, without question a superstar in the league, and yet Raptors fans reacted mostly with anger on Wednesday. Responding to a tweet from the team’s official Twitter account announcing the trade, most of the reaction from fans was negative.
Guess that’s what happens when you trade your best and most loyal player for someone who reportedly has “no desire” to play for the Raptors.
DeRozan loved Toronto, and the feeling was mutual.
