Quebec City ranked one of the best Christmas destinations in the world
You may want to reconsider those holiday travel plans, as one of the premier Christmas destinations around the world, is right here in Quebec.
According to CNN Travel, Quebec City is one of the best destinations to have a Christmas vacation.
CNN’s ranking includes 15 cities and Quebec City comes in at number eight on the list, after Honolulu.
“A haven for environmentally friendly, outdoor enthusiasts, Quebec bustles with winter activity, offering holiday programs for all tastes,” writes CNN. “Old Quebec is turned into a picturesque Christmas village. Sausage and roast chestnut lovers can browse the wares at the German Christmas market.”
The review continues and mentions other activities such as snowshoeing, winter hiking, and skiing.
“And when Christmas is over, there’s Quebec Winter Carnival from January 26 to February 11, 2018.”
