This Christmas market is worth the road trip from Montreal

Looking for a weekend Christmas adventure?

Head to Quebec City’s German Christmas Market where you’ll be transported to a world of traditional holiday fun.

This giant Christmas market is filled with German delights from cute wooden kiosks selling beautifully crafted gifts and ornaments to delicious treats (bratwurst, mulled wine, gingerbread, and more).

This year, the market is celebrating its 10th anniversary and has some very special events lined up. From musicians to live entertainment, the 2-hour 40-minute drive from Montreal is worth the road trip. Each weekend will have a new event program, so be sure to check the website for details.

The market is located in the heart of Old Quebec and is open Thursdays to Sundays from  November 23 to December 23.
