Montreal ranked 4th best city in North America for quality of life

If you need any more convincing that Montreal is a pretty great place to call home, our city has just been ranked the 4th best in North America when it comes to quality of life.

The latest ranking comes courtesy of the annual Mercer survey, which includes 231 cities around the world.

Montreal also cracked the top-30 list when it comes to quality of living in cities around the world, landing in 21st place.

World rankings

European cities dominated the quality of life rankings, making up eight of the top 10 best cities to live in in the world.

And we shouldn’t feel too bad about not cracking the top-10 list. In fact, only one Canadian city managed to do that: Vancouver, British Columbia.

Vienna, Austria, topped the list for the ninth year in a row.
