As the rain continues to fall, water levels continue to rise surrounding the island of Montreal. As reported earlier this week, Ile Mercier had already experienced major flooding with many streets in Pierrefonds and Ile Bizard being evacuated.
The city is offering financial assistance to those affected along with sandbags in an attempt to curb flooding.
Unfortunately, however, the rain shows no sign of letting up anytime soon, with another 15-20mm expected this weekend alone.
The city urges anyone concerned about flooding to call 311 immediately.
To an idea of what is going on, below are 11 photos and videos of the flooding around Montreal.
