Everything you need to know about Old Montreal's newest vegan restaurant

Pure, plant-based heaven.

Newly opened in December 2016, LOV is Old Port’s latest eatery specializing in vegan and vegetarian fare.

Lunch and dinner are served daily with brunch available on weekends only. Though the dishes change throughout the year based on what’s in season, typical meal options include kale mac and cheese, avocado toast, vegan poutine, quinoa croquettes, a smoked beet sandwich, and specialty vegan burgers.

Brunch items include yogurt and granola, toast with a homemade chocolate hazelnut spread, and a waffle with fresh fruit.

In addition to their tasty bites, LOV runs an environmentally sustainable kitchen that uses local food, biodynamic wine, and traditional cooking methods.

On to the decor, LOV is majorly Instagram-worthy. Featuring exposed white brick, a long shelf of potted succulents, and geometric light fixtures made of wood hanging from the ceiling, you’ll be tempted to post a pic to your feed before your food arrives.

Do something good for the world as well as your body, at one of Old Port’s best restaurants.

Still not convinced? Check out 12 photos from one of Montreal’s newest eateries, LOV.
