Former US president Barack Obama has been keeping busy these days with his own charity organization called the Obama Foundation.

Now, the Obama Foundation is looking for applications from Canada and around the world for its fellowship program.

The foundation is seeking “community-minded rising stars” including “organizers, creators, educators, artists, entrepreneurs, and journalists,” to apply for the program.

Twenty fellows will be selected to participate in a two-year, non-residential program that will offer hands-on training, resources, and leadership development. Specifically, the foundation is looking for applications who are at a “breakthrough moment in their careers.”

So, if you’re a budding change-maker, this could be your chance to finally make your mark on a global level.

Applications close on Friday, October 6 and winners will be announced in February 2018.

If you think you have what it takes to work with the Obama foundation, find out more about the application process here.
