As part of Montreal’s 375th anniversary, the City of Montreal invites you to join them in a celebration of the River-Mountain Walkway’s Inaugural Day.

This all-new pedestrian path spans 3.8 kilometres and links two Montreal landmarks: the St. Lawrence River and Mount Royal.

Intended as a legacy project, the new walkway claims to offer “accommodations for pedestrian comfort and safety that provide areas for resting and gathering. All along the walkway, pedestrians can discover the architectural, historic and artistic features that have shaped the city.”
