A massive tulip festival is happening near Montreal this spring

Spring is on its way (fingers crossed) and that means colourful tulips will also be blooming.

If you’re on the hunt for one of the prettiest springtime destinations near Montreal, look no further than the giant tulip festival taking place in Laval.

This year, the festival has planted over 500,000 tulip bulbs making for one massive field of flowers.

Take a stroll around the colourful fields and bring your own bucket because this festival lets you pick your own tulips.

Precut tulips will also be available to purchase.

The festival will be open seven days a week.
