This Montreal designer's $10K 'skin heels' might shock you

Montreal-based designers Hannah Rose Dalton and Steven Raj Bhaskaran and their fashion company, Fecal Matter, have created ‘skin heels’ that will certainly garner a view looks.

The thigh-high heels are designed to look like a human leg with modifications, the toes look real while the backside of the footwear includes horn protrusions on an elevated platform.

The fashion duo met at Lasalle college and have since embarked on a journey to find their “own world” in which they take on controversial subject matter such as censorship and body modification.

Their brand incorporates photography, visual art and film into their fashion ideas.

The fashion designer’s Depop peer-to-peer social shopping pageĀ features a slew of not-so-shocking products as well as some eye-openers, with a vast amount of their stock currently being sold out. Prices range from $35 for a leather purse to $3,000 ‘white fusing coat’ which was shredded and plucked by hand.

Fecal Matter’s $10,000 skin heels take months to create and are sculpted to resemble every detail on a customers feet and legs to blend perfectly into their body, hence it’s hefty price tag.
