Montreal named one of the world's 'Best Spring Vacation' destinations

Now, Montreal is getting some international recognition for its springtime beauty. It has been named one of the best spring vacation destinations in the world.
US News & World Report ranked Montreal as the third best place to take a spring vacation.
“By mid-spring, Montreal’s snow has melted and temperatures hover in the 50s and 60s, making this season the perfect time to stroll through Old Montreal and the Montreal Botanical Gardens,” said US News on its website.
“If your trip coincides with a few rainy days, head indoors to see unique sights like the Notre-Dame Basilica and the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.”
When the weather warms up, Montreal really comes alive with plenty of festivals and activities, that make the city an exciting place to be.

Montreal was not the only Canadian city to make the list. Vancouver, BC, came in ninth, and was recognized by US News for its natural outdoor attractions.
