Bonjour, high – Dogg and Plante.
That sounds like it could be the newest rap duo to hit the industry.
Until then, they can be friends.
Montreal mayor Valérie Plante met, hugged and photographed with rapper and marijuana ambassador Snoop Dogg on Friday at Montreal’s C2 technology exposition.
The mayor posted her newfound friendship on her Instagram page and jokingly added that she “wasn’t trying to kiss Snoop Dogg” as her caption.
Snoop Dogg, who shares an affection with both music and marijuana, has a significant presence in Canada’s growing pot industry. Snoop is invested in the Toronto-based Trellis organization, a cannabis inventory management software provider.
Plante was smiling ear-to-ear as she handed Mr. Dogg a Canadiens jersey with the name “Snoop” on the back which he later donned while rapping at the exhibition.
