Linkin Park North American 2017 tour cancelled after Chester Bennington's death

After news of the death of Linkin Park lead singer Chester Bennington shocked the world on Thursday, the band has officially cancelled their North American tour.

The tour was set to kick off in Boston on July 27 and stop in 27 cities around Canada and the US, including Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver.

According to Live Nation, refunds will be available to all fans who purchased tickets.

“We are incredibly saddened to hear about the passing of Chester Bennington,” Live Nation posted on Facebook.

“The Linkin Park One More Light North American Tour has been cancelled and refunds are available at point of purchase. Our thoughts go out to all those affected.”
