Jonathan Drouin is a big part of the future for the Montreal Canadiens on and off the ice.
The first-year Hab launched a new program Wednesday that will benefit less fortunate children in Montreal.

Jo et ses championsĀ will provide less fortunate children with an opportunity to attend Montreal Canadiens home games, in a specially-designed suite at the Bell Centre.
Drouin has committed to a personal annual contribution of $165,000.
“From the first day I got here, I wanted to get involved and do something for children by giving them an opportunity to enjoy memorable experiences,” Drouin says. “By giving them a chance to attend a hockey game, I am hoping that an evening in the suite will provide the kids and their families with some relief from the personal hardships they are facing. They’ll have a chance to be together and have a great time, and for me, it’s an opportunity to contribute in my own way to their well-being.”
Jo et ses championsĀ has already welcomed kids to every preseason game at the Bell Centre this season, as well as the home opener.
