Montreal’s resident comedy festival, Just for Laughs, recently announced a few major additions to their 2017 lineup.
While the likes of Jerry Seinfeld, Kevin Hart, John Mulaney, Ali Wong, David Spade, Trevor Noah, and Judd Apatow have already been confirmed, we’ve just learned that Canadian comedy icon Jim Carrey has been added as a headliner!
Carrey will make an appearance at PDA’s Maison Symphonique as part of an extra special event entitled, “I’m Dying Up Here on Showtime: A Night with Cast & Creators.”
I’m Dying Up Here is a brand new one-hour drama series revolving around the ‘70s stand-up comedy scene. The show premieres on Showtime this Sunday, June 4, and less than two months later on July 27, Carrey will be in Montreal to discuss season 1 of the series.
He will be joined by his co-executive producer, Michael Aguilar, alongside an all-star cast that includes Ari Graynor, Al Madrigal, Erik Griffin, Andrew Santino, RJ Cyler, and Clark Duke.
Tickets starts at $43.71 and go up to $81.76.
