With all the controversy that is surrounding the newly implemented Montreal pit bull ban, it’s easy to forget how amazing these dogs truly are.

Having friends that own or have owned pit bulls and hearing nothing but stories of love, we wanted to do a lighter post and share images of some pit bulls around Montreal that are defying the terrible reputation set upon them by the Montreal City Council.

Thankfully, places like the Montreal SPCA are rising up against the powers that be and taking a serious stand for all pit bull owners – not just in Montreal, but across the world – and spreading the light that this breed brings to many people’s lives.
