Greenpeace activists are protesting by climbing Olympic Stadium this morning

Greenpeace activists were busy posting on Twitter Thursday morning, sending a strong message to Justin Trudeau not to buy or build the Trans Mountain expansion project.

A video was posted calling for action:

Soon after, activists began climbing the world’s highest inclined tower in preparation of unfurling a large banner on the stadium’s side.

Outrage sparked from environmentalists earlier this year when the Trudeau government announced they would be buying the Trans Mountain pipeline for $4.5 billion.

Greenpeace activists don’t want the government to “dirty our money” and are protesting a buy out.
