One of Canada’s most famous internet weather reporters has gotten a shoutout from one of comedy’s biggest names.

Frankie MacDonald is a Canadian amateur weatherman from Nova Scotia who has autism. He films enthusiastic and colourful weather reports and posts them on YouTube.

His unique style of reporting recently caught the attention of comedian Kathy Griffin, who posted about MacDonald on her Twitter account.

“OK, yes this guy is a savant. He speaks in a way that would be easy for you to make fun of. But guess what? He’s actually highly respected and if you really listen, he has great advice and is a great follow. Thank you Frankie!” Griffin tweeted to her 2.6 million followers.

This isn’t the first time MacDonald has been recognized by stars. In the past, rappers Snoop Dogg, and 50 Cent have also given MacDonald a shoutout for his entertaining takes on the weather.
