There is plenty of fun to be had in Montreal over the Easter weekend.

Go the traditional route and enjoy Sunday morning brunch, or check out an Easter film event with a twist.

From chocolate to bunnies, make this Easter weekend a good one with these events!

Brunch

Go for a traditional Easter brunch meal at any one of Montreal’s fantastic restaurants. Whether you’re craving chicken and waffles from Faberge, beignets from Lawrence, shakshuka from SuWu, french toast from Lemeac, or mimosas from L’Atelier d’Argentine, you can’t go wrong with a hearty brunch on Easter.

Le Grand Concert du Vendredi Saint

Each year, Société philharmonique de Montréal puts on a special Easter show. This year is no exception. Le Grand Concert du Vendredi Saint is taking place on Good Friday at 8 pm. The show will feature 400 performers, including Chantal Dionne, Claudine Ledoux, Philippe Gagné, Vincent Ranallo, the UQAM choir, and the École Joseph-François-Perrault choir.

Easter egg hunt at Place Longueuil

The traditional egg hunt Place Longueuil, for the benefit of Opération Enfant Soleil. The perfect event for the kids and all the proceeds go toward a good cause.

Easter market mini-farm in Longueuil

The Easter mini-farm, in collaboration with the Verger Champêtre, is back this year at the Longueuil Public Market.

From March 30 to April 2, the market opens its doors for the celebration of Easter with the family. Mini-farm, miniature horse rides, small farm animals, mascots and tastings are on the menu to entertain young and old!

Easter Egg Hunt at Quinn Farm

Inquiétants lapins

Inquiétants lapins celebrates Easter by screening films about rabbits. From Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit to Donnie Darko, this event puts a twist on the traditional Easter bunny.

Easter at the Zoo

Montreal’s resident zoo, Zoo Ecomuseum in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, is hosting their annual Easter egg hunt on from March 31 to April 1. Easter at the Zoo will have children searching for Easter eggs, getting their faces painted, and even meeting the Easter bunny himself

Easter Mass
