It’s been over a year since we launched our food-specific channel, Dished. During that time, and well beyond it, we’ve been serving up culinary content to ensure all you foodies out there are up-to-date on all things food-related.

Here’s the thing, though – we want to give you even more.  Forget less is more. When it comes to food – more is more. Which is why we’re beyond excited to announce we’ve acquired the food-focused content creation agency, TEAMCHOMP.

As an extension of our content team, Rich Won and Jason Chow (formerly known as TEAMCHOMP) will be joining Daily Hive to focus on food-related video content.

“We’ve worked with TEAMCHOMP on a number of campaigns in the past and we’ve been blown away by the quality of their product,” says Karm Sumal, CEO and co-founder of Daily Hive. “Their impressive track record for client satisfaction, along with their industry knowledge, will make them a huge asset to our content department.”

Since they began in 2015, Rich and Jason have been creating phenomenal visual assets for restaurants and food brands. Not only have they made tens of thousands on Instagram drool over their artfully-curated feed – they’ve also created an online community of food-lovers. Their hashtag #TeamChomp has been tagged in over 150,000 posts.

“We’ve always wanted the chance to showcase food from our eyes and dissect how food connects people from all facets of life,” says Rich. “This opportunity gives us the tools to do so.”

“TEAMCHOMP is not going away, you will see the same content you love on all the Dished channels, from photos to videos and much more,” says Jason. “Stay tuned fam, we have dope things planned for 2019 and beyond!”

What does this new addition mean to you? It means a whole lot more food content.

“I’m so excited to welcome Team Chomp on board to take Dished to the next level,” says Hanna McLean, Dished Vancouver Editor. “Rich and Jason have been long-time collaborators of the Daily Hive team, and we are thrilled to have them on board to elevate the video and content creation of the channel and all of the network’s cities.”

So brace yourself, and consider investing in a bib – because Dished is about to get a whole-lot more delicious.
