Montreal is a music hub. From indie bands playing at low-key bars to the biggest acts selling out the Bell Centre, there is no shortage of musical talent in Montreal. And because there’s never a bad time to enjoy live music, check out this list of 17 concerts to see in Montreal in June.

PVRIS

Fronted by powerhouse vocalist Lynn Gunn, Pvris will be performing songs from their hit album, White Noise, including their latest single, “You and I.” Get ready to seriously rock.

Florence and the Machine

Hailing from South London, Florence Welch’s incredibly haunting vocals will surely leave concertgoers speechless on June 8th. Expect to hear favourites like “Dog days are over” and “You’ve got the love” during the bands “How Big Tour” stop in our fair city.

Jean Leloup

Legendary Quebecois rock artist, Jean Leloup is coming to Montreal for two shows at Place des Arts. Get ready to delve deep into a world of poetry as Jean will perform music from his latest eccentric album “À Paradis City.”

The Staves

This folk rock group from England made up of three sisters are making an appearance in Montreal to perform songs from their latest album, Sleeping In A Car. Brace yourself for dreamy folk harmonies with an edge.

Oxmo Puccino

Matt Corby

Coming here all the way from the land down under, Indie rock singer-songwriter Matt Corby will be gracing fans with his soulfulness. Interesting fact: Corby finished second on Australian idol in 2007 and previously toured with a church band. Talk about diverse!

Hall & Oates

Paul Simon
