The biggest bubble run in Quebec is coming to Montreal this September (how much bubble-based competition could they have?).
The non-competitive race features 5 km of foamy bubbles which increase at each passing kilometre. As participants make their way to the end of the race, yes, more bubbles await at the finish line’s Foam Party.
The race starts at 10 am and has departures every 15 minutes. Organizers encourage audiences and participants to dress up in zany, colourful costumes to add to the crazy bubble tour vibe. This year’s theme is disco and one wave of runners is dedicated exclusively to guests who come dressed in costumes.
The Big Bubble Tour encourages all runners from any level or age to join the race.
Included in everyone’s participation is a medal, a racing bib, bracelets, temporary tattoos, a racing bag, a towel, professional photographs, and, of course, foam.
The Big Bubble Tour is all good fun and costs $40 to join. It’s one of those opportunities where you claim it’s for the kids but it could really just be for you. Besides, how often do you get to tell people you ran through 5 km worth of bubbles.
