Friday is finally here Montreal and it’s time to celebrate. From Reggae Fest to Pride events there is so much happening around town today.

The 14th Annual Montreal International Reggae Festival 

The Annual Montreal International Reggae Festival is back for its 14th year from August 18 to 20.

Get ready to feel the reggae vibe with a stellar lineup three-day lineup playing that will be performing at the Old Port.

There will also be tons of good eats, drinks, and vendors on site.

RibFest

Montreal RibFest returns for yet another barbecue-filled food event.

Taking over Pierrefonds-Roxboro Borough Hall between August 18th and August 20th, RibFest sees some of the best rib vendors from Montreal and abroad serving up racks on racks of their mouthwatering ribs.

2017 participants include Fat Boys BBQ, The Hogfather BBQ, Billy Bones BBQ, Jack the Ribber, Camp 31, and Ribs Royal. Prepare to indulge in everything from baby back ribs and pulled chicken to pulled pork and fried chicken.

Nelly Furtado

Thousands of spectators are expected as Nelly Furtado, the internationally acclaimed Canadian singer, returns to Montréal for the first time since 2013. She is back with a new album, The Ride, launched last March and will give a 90-minute performance on the TD stage singing her greatest hits and new songs from her album.
